What's new from April 2008?
As usual, there are many changes to the UK tax system. Some are for the better, promising to help simplfy our overly complicated
tax laws. Others, such as a new style tax return, are definitely open to debate. The sections below will outline just what the

Changes to tax rates and allowances
From April 2008, there has been a reduction in the Basic Rate of tax, and the lowest rate will be removed entirely. There are other changes to be noted also.
